Isle of Voyage

Back to Hospitality
Isle of Voyage

design intent Morph a heritage icon – the Florence Hummerston Pavilion – into a contemporary hospitality concept for a new era in Perth’s riverside development.

Considered the jewel in the crown of Perth’s evolving Elizabeth Quay Development, Isle of Voyage is an amalgamation of a heritage icon (the Florence Hummerston Pavilion, built in 1928) and a new direction in Perth CBD riverside development. We created a new hospitality concept for Swan River dining with our design influenced by the menu – clean, locally sourced food – and the intention of providing a joyful dining experience.

Our focus was on quality materials, such as solid oak furniture and Liberty of London fabrics, and we harnessed the light with a clean white interior in the heritage tearoom. The result is whimsical and international in a heritage-meets-contemporary dining establishment that embraces views over the river and the city.
